Glendale Library Tree Planting

Come plant trees with TreeUtah on the West Side of Salt Lake City, in conjunction with Salt Lake City Urban Forestry. We will be planting street trees as part of Mayor Erin Mendenhall's initiative to plant an additional 1000 trees on the West Side each year. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and a refillable water bottle.

We'll bring the trees, amendments, and tools so we can plant for success!

Meet: at 9am at the Glendale Library at 1375 Concord St, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. We'll have coffee, tea and snacks available.

Questions: Amy May, Executive Director (801) 573-5685

Look for the green TreeUtah tent when you arrive to check and welcome you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
