Community Outreach Coordinator
Katerina (Kat) grew up on the beautiful island of Crete, Greece, and always felt connected to the olive and pine tree groves surrounding her home. Although the ocean will always hold a special place in her heart, the mountains are what truly captivate her now. Having lived in 3 different countries and 3 different states, she found a growing love for the outdoors and specifically the American West. The frosty, lush alpine mountains and the colorful shifting desert are what led her to Utah in 2024. Kat could not be more excited to be part of a team striving to bring more green spaces to the place which she now calls home.
Kat helps facilitate tree planting events and manages the media for TreeUtah.
