Earth Day Tree Planting

Join us tomorrow, Friday, April 22, to plant trees for Earth Day at the the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley City. We will be planting trees sponsored by our partners at Ivory Homes through their Ivory Green initiatives

We expect the event to last from 9 am to 12 pm whether rain or shine. Check the weather forecast before coming so you are prepared for what the weather may bring. It definitely looks like we'll have some rain, but the trees will absolutely love it!

Please wear closed-toe shoes, rain gear (plus a wide-brimmed hat that will keep rain off your face), warm layers, and clothing you don't mind getting wet/dirty. We'll have a water refill station (bring your own reusable water bottle, please), coffee, tea, fruit, and granola bars.

The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is at:

1355 W 3100 S, West Valley City, UT 84119

Register to let us know you are coming!

After the planting, check out the art on exhibit inside the center called Tree Stories. Don't stray too far after the planting because that evening from 5:30PM to 8:00PM, join us for Springfest, an Earth Day Celebration that will include Samba Fogo dancers performing and planting an oak tree as part of the fun!
