Earth Day Tree Planting at Oquirrh Park in Kearns!

Celebrate this Earth Day with us, Wednesday, April 22nd, 9am - noon, at Oquirrh Park in Kearns, where we will spend the day planting trees in honor of our Earth. <3

Location: Kearns Oquirrh Park. Type "Oquirrh Ball Parking Lot" (use google maps not apple maps) on South Side of Park accessed at 4950 Ed Mayne Lane.

When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in! Once everyone's there, we'll do a welcome, planting demonstration with arborists, and safety talk. Then we'll break into groups and get planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, drinks and trained staff to guide you.

We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own refillable water bottle. TreeUtah will make sure there are plenty of snacks for you at the table and fizzy beverages on hand in the cooler. We will wrap up by or before noon. 

NOTE: We have two plantings happening on Earth Day at the same park! One is from 9am-noon and the second one is 1pm - 4pm. You're welcome to come to both, or chose the one that works for you!
