Planting at Glendale Middle School

Planting at Glendale Middle School

Come spend a brisk Fall morning planting trees with us at Glendale Middle School on Saturday, October 22nd at 9:00am.

When you arrive, look for the green TreeUtah tent and check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll do a planting demonstration and safety talk, then get to planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, coffee/tea, and trained staff to guide you. We'll wrap up the event by noon.

We ask that you bring a reusable water bottle, wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.

Prior to participating in this event, volunteers should fill out our online Volunteer Waiver Form.

This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!

Everyone can help

TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
