Salt Lake City Free Tree Giveaway!

If you’re a Salt Lake City resident with room for a tree in your yard, join our program and come pick up a tree and planting tips for free! 

When: October 29th, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

Where: Navajo Circle Park. Address is 1152 S. Navajo St, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. Neighborhood street parking available (you may have to walk a bit). Look for the green TreeUtah tent in middle of circle to check in!

Trees are first come first serve. We anticipate selling out, so please plan to arrive as close to 3:30pm as possible.

Trees should fit in a wheelbarrow or car trunk to get back to your home (7 gallon pots). You must attend a tree planting demonstration with TreeUtah arborists before taking your tree home. We will be sharing tips and tricks on how to plant a tree for success and will be available to answer any questions on tree care afterward!

Planting Demonstrations are at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm.

Notes: You are only able to receive one tree per address. Trees are to be planted in front or back yards. This program is not for park-strips beyond the sidewalk in front of your house.

An email with the tree species available will be sent out a few days before the event. Please make sure to take a look at the trees and get a preliminary idea if they work for your space.
