Sugar House Park Arboretum Tour and Mulch Madness Event!
Join TreeUtah Saturday, March 7th @10am for a morning of tree education and tree care at our beloved Sugar House Park!
Spring is springing and we're ready to spend some time in our gorgeous city arboretum and learn about trees with our arborist Pascal, on a short and sweet tour.
Mulch Madness will commence after the tour, where you'll get to come help beautify, care for and protect some of the youngest and newest tree additions to the park.
You'll walk away from this event, knowing you have contributed to the growth and life of several tree groves at the park!
The one-hour arboretum tour will begin at 10am. We will meet across from the Parley's Creek Pavilion, at Sugar House Park (2100 S 1300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
Mulch Madness begins after the tour and will wrap up around 1pm.
When you arrive (around 9:45am), look for the big TreeUtah tent to check in! Please sign a waiver before-hand, by registering for this event.
We will provide tools, snacks, light refreshments, a helpful demonstration on how to mulch and prep the trees, as well as a safety talk before we get mulching!
We ask that you dress for the weather, bring a refillable water bottle and sun protection, and wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
