Tree Planting at Big Cottonwood Regional Park
Join us this Saturday, April 13th at Big Cottonwood Park (4300 S 1300 E, Millcreek, UT 84117) from 9:00 am - noon to help us expand this lovely regional park's canopy.
We'll be planting just North of the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex. The best way to access the parking lot is from 1300 E.
When you arrive at the planting site, look for our big green tent to check in. When everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting.
We'll bring the trees, tools, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear long plants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.
So we know to expect you, please fill out our volunteer waiver by clicking here or following the link below:

We've had multiple plantings at Big Cottonwood Park throughout the past few years and we love seeing how the trees we've planted together have grown. Seeing these trees thrive in their new home gives us the motivation we need as we work together to get even more trees in the ground!
This tree planting event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!
