Tree Planting at the 9-Line Orchard

Three people dig a hole in preparation to plant a small apple tree

Join us at the growing 9-Line Orchard (932 S 1100 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84104) on Friday, April 12th at 9:00 am to help us add more fruit trees to this awesome community project!

When you arrive at the planting site, look for our big green tent to check in. Once everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting.

We will bring the trees, tools, soil amendments, and expertise to guide you through the planting process.

We ask that you wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.

So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Waiver at the following link: https://treeutah.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/tree-utah-volunteer-waiver

This event was made possible in part by you through Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks. Thank you!
