Tree Planting at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai
We've got another opportunity to plant at the Nature Center at Pia Okwai (3310 S 1000 W, South Salt Lake, UT 84119) this season! Join us on Thursday, October 24th at 9:00 am to help us bring even more green to this awesome nature site.
TreeUtah will bring the trees, tools, gloves, and expertise to guide you through the planting process. We ask that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, enough layers to plant comfortably in the day's weather, and sun protection. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to fill at our water station.
When you arrive at the planting site, check in at our big green tent. When everyone has arrived, we'll begin with a brief safety talk and planting demonstration. Then, we'll split into small groups and get planting!
So we know to expect you, please fill out our Volunteer Waiver at the link below:

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
