Class on Home Orchard Management

Join our arborist Pascal at Conservation Garden Park to learn the basics on how to manage fruit trees, from planting to harvest.

Interested in starting your own orchard? Or are you looking to take better care of a few backyard fruit trees? Either way this class will cover the basic essentials for success from planting to harvest, so that you can grow fresh fruit in your own backyard.

This class will cover information such as site and soil requirements, planting tips for the care of apple, pear, peach, plum, apricot, and cherry trees, fruit tree maintenance, as well as common fruit tree pests.

This class will meet on February 12th at 5:30pm in the Education Center at Conservation Garden Park.
