TreeUtah Team Leader Training
Are you looking for more ways to get involved in your community in 2026? Our team leader positions at TreeUtah offer a flexible and fun way to do just that!
Team leaders are a crucial part of what we do. They provide a warm welcome to our volunteers at our events, engage and help through tree plantings, provide guidance and ensure that all of our plantings are successful and safe!
When you become a Team Leader for TreeUtah, you will receive helpful training in preparing and planting trees. You will also receive materials and tools that you will be using at planting events, appreciation goodies, and recognition for your hours given to TreeUtah! We also offer free First Aid & CPR Certification, free admission to annual snowshoe, skiing, and other community enrichment events, and last but not least, a reference on your résumé.
As far as commitment? We only ask that you attend at least 6 plantings/events in a calendar year!
Our first Team Leader Training will take place Saturday, February 28th at 10am.
Training sessions will take place at the Day Riverside Library.
Address is 1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116

Everyone can help
TreeUtah is dedicated to making our events accessible to everyone. Planting trees might sound intimidating, but it’s a task anyone can help with! Our events are open to everyone across the spectrums of age, experience, and abilities. Whether you show up to lend your hands to dig holes, your eyes to ensure trees are upright, or your voice to keep us encouraged, you are welcome to plant trees with TreeUtah. If you want to plant trees with us, we will work with you to accommodate your needs and we will be happy to have you join us!
